Meg McNeal, New York City-based yoga teacher, has been practicing yoga since 2001 and began informally teaching yoga in 2004. She sees yoga as a vehicle to access your personal truth, a place of love, union, and authenticity. Meg teaches the practice to serve as a catalyst for new awareness, acceptance, love and compassion for all beings, and ultimately liberation from the illusion of the ego. Her intention is to inspire her students to embrace their journey of transformation by teaching a mindful, challenging, spiritual, and playful asana practice while integrating the other essential seven limbs of Pantanjali’s eight limb path. Meg’s sequences are intelligently planned and altered to tailor to the needs of her students.

Meg’s professional background is in education where she developed a keen sense of organization, differentiation, management, and how to articulately write dynamic curricula. She worked for twelve years as a Spanish teacher for various age groups as well as a high school guidance counselor for two years. Meg’s education-based skill set is evident in her yoga teaching and she has created, planned, written, and co-facilitated a 200-hour yoga teacher training program for Lyons Den Power Yoga in New York City. Meg has also taught classes, workshops, and has developed programs for studios in multiple cities stateside and internationally.
